The countries represented included Australia, Canada, England, Mexico, Norway, Scotland, South Africa and the United States.
In addition to over 40 equipment manufacturers, seed company representatives and other turfgrass-related industry professionals who exhibited at the event, the conference provided two days of informative educational sessions addressing timely issues of importance to turfgrass producers.
Farm owner Gary Wilber of Salisbury commented, “There was a great deal to see and do at this TPI event. The educational sessions were extensive and informative, the opportunity to talk to equipment and supplier representatives and see what they have to offer was great, and the chance to talk to fellow turfgrass producers from around the world made it all worthwhile. Everything I learned is sure to help me make wiser decisions when it comes to my business and it is sure to benefit the customers I serve.”
Turfgrass Producers International is an independent not-for-profit association with over 700 members in more 40 countries. Oakwood Sod Farm has been a member of TPI since 1986.
