Bermudagrass is the turf of the future for golf courses and high-use athletic fields in the Transition Zone.  Bermuda offers great wear resistance, high recuperative ability, and is resistant to most diseases of turfgrass.  Bermuda will thrive in conditions of poor soil or low moisture where others wilt and die, and breeding programs have developed new varieties of bermuda with superior cold tolerance.

We can offer you Patriot Bermuda, with its own special abilities and characteristics, and adapted to the Mid-Atlantic region:

PATRIOT-  Newest variety, released in June 2002.  Combines superior cold tolerance, disease resistance, wear tolerance and leaf texture.  Patriot is clearly the bermudagrass of the future for the Mid-Atlantic region.

Our bermudagrass sod is available as palletized pieces (16” X 24”) or big rolls, (42” X 50’).

Installation and care of bermudagrass sod is straightforward, but for large areas we recommend establishment by planting of sprigs.  In fact, we have developed ways to renovate and convert your golf course or athletic field to bermudagrass with minimal disruption and loss of revenue!
